What is BIAB? or Builder in-a Bottle

Builder in-a Bottle AKA BIAB has become the latest nail trend over the last few years. It has revolutionised nail application to benefit those who have weak or damaged nails.

What is BIAB?

BIAB works as a base or overlay, before gel colour application. It can also be applied on its own, as BIAB comes in an array of colours, depending on the brand, we work with The Gel Bottle (@the_gelbottle_inc).

BENEFITS

Adds strength to the natural nail

The thicker layer ensures that the weakness of

the nail is held strong, to avoid breakages in the common stress point areas of the nail (i.e. nail tip and sides)

SOAK OFF

Like most standard gel-polish, BIAB can be removed with gentle product filing and soak-off, using a cotton pad and acetone. (What you would normally expect in a gel manicure removal). So it's safer and less damaging to your natural nails.

Helps your nails grow longer

Where BIAB keeps your nails strong, this subsequently means that your nails can naturally grow longer, because of less breakages. Bonus for those who struggle to grow their nails naturally.

Can be used to create short to medium Extensions

BIAB is so versatile that it can also be used to create nail extensions. The general goal with BIAB is to grow the natural nails, but sometimes nails are odd-lengths and shapes, so BIAB can be used to create the symmetry needed, for a perfect mani.

Can be Infilled

BIAB doesn't always have to be soaked off. It can be carefully filed down, to leave some product, so it's ready for an infill.

It's VEGAN and Cruelty-Free !

The Gel Bottle is 10-Free

(Formaldehyde, Toluene, Dibutyl Phithalate, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, Xylene, Triphenol Phosphate, Sulfate or Sulphate, Parabens).
